Ectica Technologies will sponsor and present at the International Extra-Cellular Matrix Pharmacology Congress 2022 organized and chaired by Prof. Morten Karsdal. The aim of the congress is to focus on development of new drugs targeting the extracellular matrix and improve our understanding of changes to the extracellular matrix across chronic diseases.
Alterations to the extracellular matrix are a common denominator in most chronic diseases. It is not merely a consequence of the diseases but an active driver. Creating a forum for experts to discuss, share and learn from other disease fields will be essential for patients and future drug development. A forum will help increase the understanding of the extracellular matrix across chronic diseases and accelerate the development of drugs targeting the extracellular matrix.
